One basic skill of game design clearly is 3D modelling. In this project I got to try out some things in blender. Also took advantage of the Oculus Integration and its example scenes, like with the player controller. We not completely created it ourselves, but modified it in Blender and Unity to meet our needs and demands. 
Most of the work actually had to be done in Unity - the well known game engine. Starting with no experience the software and also Bolt as our visual scripting tool of choice often caused trouble and frustration, but it was worth it. We learned, that every problem can be solved with enough time, effort and one or two tutorials.
This project consumed much of our strentgh, stamina, frust and time, but I can say I am proud of what our group could present after only five months of work beginning with zero experience in game design and development.
Thanks to my brilliant partners David Uhieoma, Felix Greim and most of all Finley Hullermann. Without his stunning skills as a techgeek "ODYS" would never have been possible.
